Terms and Conditions for The Big BBQ Raffle These terms and conditions apply to Child Bereavement UK’s The Big BBQ raffle 2021. Promoter: Child Bereavement UK, a registered charity in England and Wales: 1040419 and Scotland: SCO42910. The raffle adheres to rules and regulations as outlined by The Gambling Commission. Child Bereavement UK reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice. Entering the Raffle Tickets are not to be sold to, sold by, or bought on behalf of anyone under 16 years of age. The raffle is open to UK residents only. Child Bereavement UK staff and their families may enter but those drawing the raffle winner (and their family members) are not allowed to participate. A family member is considered to be a spouse, partner, close blood relation or spouse of a close blood relation. Participation in this raffle costs a minimum of £5 and buys five chances to win. Payment for participation in the raffle must be made by following the steps listed here. Your raffle ticket(s) will be in the form of an auto-response email thanking you for your purchase. Please note, the email will include one ticket number per transaction, not per ticket(s) purchased. Please be reassured however that your name will be entered into the draw the correct number of times. Please check your junk inbox if you do not receive confirmation of the sale of your ticket(s). Child Bereavement UK accepts no responsibility if your chosen method of payment is cancelled in error. Any raffle ticket monies received after the closing date will be treated as a donation to Child Bereavement UK, but the tickets will not be entered into the draw. Child Bereavement UK cannot claim Gift Aid on raffle ticket monies, but Gift Aid can be claimed on donations. Child Bereavement UK reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion. The Raffle Draw The closing date for the raffle is midnight on Tuesday 31 August 2021 and the prize draw will take place at midday on Wednesday 1 September 2021. The prize winner will be randomly selected in an independently supervised draw held at a third party’s premises on the draw date. The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be notified by email using details provided when purchasing tickets, no later than two weeks after the draw date. The prize will be delivered to the preferred address. The winner’s name will be available online on our website. Should the winner object to their name being made available he/she should inform Child Bereavement UK’s Fundraising Team at the point of entry or at any time afterwards on [email protected] Child Bereavement UK will attempt to contact the winner by email up to two times. If contact is not made, the charity reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner. The prize is a John Lewis/Waitrose voucher worth £500 and a Waitrose barbecue themed hamper. The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered. All prizes have been kindly donated.
