Social Media User Policy

We aim to respond to queries on our social media channels, however this may not always be possible as our social media channels are only monitored Monday to Friday from 9-5pm. We aim to respond to any private messages within 48 hours but it can take longer if your message is received message over the weekend. Alternatively if your message is urgent, you can call our Helpline on 0800 02 888 40, access Live Chat on our website, or email [email protected]. Please note these channels operate between the hours of 9-5pm, Monday to Friday.

We will not tolerate any comments which are offensive, obscene, are defamatory, threatening, abusive, hateful, discriminatory, unintelligible, misleading, for commercial gain, unsupportive of others or inappropriate in any other way. We reserve the right to hide or delete any comments posted on our channels, as well as block or report users if we deem it to be necessary.

Training booking terms and conditions

  • In the unlikely event that it is necessary for Child Bereavement UK to cancel a course, notice will be given as soon as possible. Full refunds will be sent to the address on the booking form. Child Bereavement UK is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by individuals/organisations.
  • Courses and workshops – we will accept cancellation of bookings up to 28 days before the course, however a £25 administration fee will be charged. No refund or credit will be given for bookings cancelled less than 28 days before the course or for non-attendance.
  • All fees must be paid before the date of the course.
  • We reserve the right to change the venue, but alternative venues will be in the local area and appropriate for the purposes of the training.
  • Conference booking fees will not be refunded.
