The winner of the raffle will be picked at random and announced at the end of the Quiz Night at Home event on Tuesday 16th March 2021. The winner will be notified by email and will be named on our website.

Please note that the tickets to the ‘Quiz Night at the Museum’ don’t include transport or accommodation. If the Quiz Night at the Museum has to be postponed then the tickets shall be transferable to the new event date or, in the event of cancellation, an equivalent event. These tickets have no monetary value.

Full terms and conditions of the prize draw are as follows:

  1. Entry is open to all residents of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and is included with the ticket to take part in the Quiz Night at Home.

  2. You must be aged 18 or over enter.

  3. By entering this raffle, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Any entries not complying with these terms and conditions will not be valid.

  4. Child Bereavement UK accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault e.g. technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind. If for any reason a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs when registering online, Child Bereavement UK does not take any responsibility for incomplete registrations and any incomplete registrations will not be considered valid for entry. Child Bereavement UK accepts no responsibility for any registrations which are not completed for any reason.

  5. The winner will be selected at random via the details provided upon purchasing their ticket.

  6. Entry closes at 7.50pm on 16th March 2021 and the draw takes place at 8.30pm on 16th March 2021.

  7. The winner will be notified by email using details provided at registration. The winner’s name will be available online on the Child Bereavement UK website at www.childbereavementuk.org Should the winner object to their name being made available he/she should inform Child Bereavement UK’s Events Team at the point of entry or at any time afterwards on [email protected]

  8. Late entries: No entries will be counted for the raffle unless received by the closing date. Any money received after the closing date will be treated as a donation to help fund our work – thank you.

  9. Child Bereavement UK employees, and their family members, who could directly influence the draw will not be entered into the raffle for the Quiz Night at Home. A family member is considered to be a spouse, partner, close blood relation or spouse of a close blood relation.

  10. We will make every effort to contact the winner, however if we are unable to make contact within 14 days of the draw, unclaimed prizes will be reallocated to another entrant. A number of extra draws are made on the draw date in case of this eventuality.

  11. Child Bereavement UK has the right to change or update the terms and conditions at its discretion and participants are invited to regularly check the website for updates.

  12. Child Bereavement UK reserves the right to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the draw in whole or in part in its sole discretion and in such circumstances shall be entitled to retain any and all donations to the Child Bereavement UK Quiz Night at Home.

  13. Child Bereavement UK reserves the right to reject your entry and/or award any prize to an alternative winner if we have grounds to believe that you have breached any of these terms and conditions, acted fraudulently or illegally, or on other reasonable grounds and Child Bereavement UK shall have no liability to you for any loss or damage arising from our exercise of such rights.

  14. The prize may be gifted to another person, but it is non-negotiable and not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

  15. Child Bereavement UK shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered or arising from:
    - Any delays or failures in any software or other systems used by Child Bereavement UK for the administration of the Quiz Night at Home.
    - Any delays or failures in the software on Tap Simple
    - Any event beyond the reasonable control of Child Bereavement UK

  16. Any queries or complaints relating to the draw should be sent in writing to Events Team, Child Bereavement UK, Unit 10, Knaves Beech Way, Loudwater HP10 9QY or by email to [email protected] giving full details of the complaint and supporting documentation.

  17. The Laws of England and Wales shall govern the interpretation and/or enforcement of these terms and conditions and Child Bereavement UK, and all entrants hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
