Support our work with bereaved families by taking part in our weekly fundraising lottery for just £1 a week and be in with a chance to win up to £25,000!

Every day in the UK, 111 children are bereaved of their mum or dad, and 21 babies, children and young people die, leaving families devastated by bereavement. The impact of bereavement on children, young people, parents and families cannot be underestimated. One young person we supported told us: "After someone dies it's like falling through a spiral. Coming to Child Bereavement UK felt like being caught in a net."

At Child Bereavement UK our aim is for all families to have the support they need when a child grieves or when a child dies. Our Make A Difference Draw will raise vital funds to help make this vision a reality.

By taking part, you’ll be helping to support our work ensuring families can find the support they need after the devastation of child bereavement.

You’ll be helping parents like Saranba, who was supported by Child Bereavement UK after her son Hakim died, aged 18, by homicide.

The support from Child Bereavement UK helped me talk about him. I never use the word ‘cope’ but it helped me to ‘walk the walk’ because it’s a long and painful journey, an endless journey. The support helped me on some of my darkest days.
