Who we are:

The Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre is based in Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. It was developed as a joint venture between Macmillan Cancer Support and NHS Dumfries and Galloway in 2003.
Our aim is to help ensure that those affected by cancer have access to good quality, comprehensive and appropriate information and Support.

What we offer:

We offer free information and support for anyone affected by cancer.
We stock a selection of booklets and leaflets for children whose family member or someone close to them has been given a diagnosis of cancer. This also includes information for children who have been affected by bereavement or the pre-bereavement stage.
We can offer support and advice to people with cancer who need to tell their children or grandchildren of the situation.
