We are looking for friendly and welcoming volunteers to support an open-air production of Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor in aid of Child Bereavement UK. This is a family friendly event and under 18’s are welcome to support by volunteering with a guardian. The roles are needed during the evening and duties will include accepting tickets, selling programmes and raffle tickets, helping with the silent auction, marshalling the car park, serving refreshments, and other ad hoc duties. On the day, as you will be representing the charity, we kindly ask that you wear our branded t-shirt.

Terms: There are performances nightly from Tuesday 27-Saturday 31 July (inclusive). Shifts are available at 5pm to 10.30pm or 4pm to 7.30pm.

Based: Stubbings, Henley Rd, Maidenhead SL6 6QL

Essential Skills Required: A friendly and approachable personality.

Ideal Skills Required: An ability to communicate with the public affectively and to follow instructions.

Volunteer Safety:

Due to the timing of the event we expect all social distancing measures to be lifted for open air events. However, we do recommend you take a lateral flow test prior to the event if possible. You can order coronavirus (COVID-19) rapid lateral flow tests for free on the GOV.UK website.

Visors, face masks, gloves, and hand sanitiser will be readily available if you wish to use them. This will not be mandatory, but available if you wish to use them.
