We are looking for a personable volunteer who would enjoy working on a large variety of fundraising projects, primarily focussed on new business. The role involves researching corporate organisations from their website, getting details on their CSR policy and some telephone work checking application dates and contact names. You will work in conjunction with the Corporate Partnerships Officer to raise vital funds that support our work helping bereaved families. You will receive a clear brief before every project.

Terms: The hours are flexible, ideally working at least 3 hours per week

Key activities:

  • Researching relevant and up-to-date information online on an identified set of corporate organisations in order to understand their CSR policies and application processes
  • Telephoning or emailing organisations to clarify dates and contact names if not clear from their website
  • Identifying and analysing corporates supporting similar charities across the UK
  • Attending update meeting via Zoom or telephone with the Corporate Partnerships Officer
