Distance: 25KM | Registration Fee: variable| Fundraising Target: variable

Join 2000 trekkers as we venture 25km across the capital taking in unrivalled views of the skyline from its best vantage points. Setting out from Putney Bridge, it's East towards the City, zig-zagging over the array of historic bridges, each with its fascinating story, and a midpoint stop at Kennington Oval for some snacks and drinks. 25km later, it's a finish line celebration in Southwark past the majestic Tower Bridge. Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement.

Why Child Bereavement UK?

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying. We provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.

When you fundraise for us, you’ll receive:

  • a welcome email & fundraising pack from our events team
  • a charity branded running vest with iron on letters
  • support from our dedicated fundraising & events team to help you to achieve your target
  • e-newsletters updating you with news from the charity
  • access to our Facebook group, where other fundraisers share training tips and fundraising advice
