Join 2000 trekkers as we venture 25km across the capital taking in unrivalled views of the skyline from its best vantage points. Setting out from Putney Bridge, it's East towards the City, zig-zagging over the array of historic bridges, each with its fascinating story, and a midpoint stop at Kennington Oval for some snacks and drinks. 25km later, it's a finish line celebration in Southwark past the majestic Tower Bridge. Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement

Fundraising options

There are three ways in which you can take on this incredible challenge. 

  • Charity sponsorship: Pay a low registration fee and do lots of fundraising for a chosen charity. The charity covers your event place cost.
  • Charity mixed funding- lower charity fundraising target: Pay half the event self-fund cost (chosen charity pays the other half).
  • Self-funding option: You pay full event place cost when you register. No fundraising required, but you can if you wish to. 

Full Challenge
Option 1- Charity sponsorship

£10 registration fee online + a minimum of £250 charity sponsorship

Option 2- Mixed sponsorship

£45 registration fee online+ at least £135 charity sponsorship

Option 3- Self funding option £79 registration fee, raise as much as possible

Why Child Bereavement UK?

Child Bereavement UK helps children, parents and families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people up to the age of 25 who are facing bereavement, and anyone affected by the death of a child of any age.

We provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.
