Make 2023 your year to take on the TCS Virtual London Marathon - anywhere, at your pace and in your own way! The Virtual London Marathon is a hugely popular event with 50,000 people taking part in 2021. It was awarded a Guinness World record title for the most users to run a remote marathon in 24 hours in 2020.

Why not get a group together and take part with friends and family, or even the dog? Break it down into manageable chunks, maybe stopping off for a nice pub lunch along the way? You can choose to walk, jog or run it - just find a pace and route that works for you, it can be as flat and hilly as you like. The only condition is that you complete the 26.2 miles on the 23 April 2023 between 00.00 and 23.59.

Why Child Bereavement UK?

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying. We provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.

When you fundraise for us, you’ll receive:

Child Bereavement UK was such a lifeline to us in the months that followed the death of our daughter Tallula. We decided to run the virtual marathon together as we thought nothing could ever be as hard as that day she died and we also wanted to do something positive and raise money for a charity so close to our hearts.

Amanda and Alan Braithwaite ran the 2021 Virtual Virgin Money London Marathon and raised £2,162 for Child Bereavement UK
