Distance: 25/50 KM | Registration Fee: variable| Fundraising Target: variable

A new ‘South West’ challenge for 2023. The route takes in the first Minehead section of the stunning and famous 630 mile Coastal Path with an extensive ‘basecamp’ in the shadows of the impressive Dunster Castle. Then the 50 km loop heads over Exmoor with ups and downs and some magnificent views with over 1600 metres of climb. You’ll get full support all the way to the finish, and there are three 25 km options also, plus a family friendly 10K event  – along with camping options and festival style hospitality at basecamp across the weekend.

Why Child Bereavement UK?

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying. We provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.

When you fundraise for us, you’ll receive:

  • a welcome email and fundraising pack from our events team
  • a charity running vest with iron on letters
  • support from our dedicated fundraising and events team to help you to achieve your target
  • e-newsletters updating you with news from across the charity
  • access to our Facebook group, where other fundraisers share training tips and fundraising advice
