Training provides an overview of the following: children’s understanding of death, managing grief, bereavement policies, procedures and support strategies; and staff wellbeing for professionals working in schools, nurseries, colleges and other education settings.

Schools have an important role in helping bereaved young children. This webinar will give education professionals some understanding of the impact of bereavement on children, drawing on both theoretical background and practical interventions.

We encourage prospective participants to consider their own experience of loss and how it might affect them during training. Our training is not usually suited to anyone who has suffered a recent, significant personal loss or bereavement.
