Training Bookings Book training Loss, death and grief - empowering school staff to have honest conversations Book here This 90-minute webinar identifies opportunities for schools, nurseries and other education settings to have more open discussions about death and grief with their pupils. As well as helping to prepare staff, pupils, parents and carers, the content includes answering difficult questions and the use of resources to initiate open conversations about death with pupils of all ages. 3 July 2023, 4pm to 5.30pm Who should attend? All those whose work brings them into contact with grieving children and young people, in whatever capacity. Learning outcomes You will: Gain an introduction to the topics of death and grief. Explore initiating conversations about death and grief. Cover ways to answer difficult questions. Understand how to provide support to pupils and members of staff. Explore how to embed death and grief into the curriculum. Discover resources to support learning. Gain information about Child Bereavement UK, other similar support organisations and resources. Cost: £22.15 We encourage prospective participants to consider their own experience of loss and how it might affect them during training.
