Register for the London Winter Walk Why Child Bereavement UK? Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying. We provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families. When you fundraise for us, you’ll receive: a welcome email and fundraising pack from our fundraising team a charity t-shirt to wear on the day support from our dedicated fundraising team to achieve your target e-newsletters updating you with news from across the charity access to our Facebook group, where other fundraisers share training and fundraising advice. I decided to fundraise for Child Bereavement UK so that others can receive help when they are faced with the most turbulent times of their lives. Matt Fundraising options There are three ways to take on the London Winter Walk: Full sponsorship for charity You pay a low registration fee and have a minimum fundraising target. The charity covers your event place cost. Please select 'Child Bereavement UK' when you complete your registration. *Participants receive a 25% registration fee discount when choosing full sponsorship for Child Bereavement UK. Mixed funding for charity You pay half the registration fee and the charity pays the remainder. You have a smaller minimum fundraising target. When you complete your registration form and choose a charity, please select * OTHER * on the list and then add 'Child Bereavement UK'. Own place charity fundraising You pay full event place cost when you register and there is no minimum fundraising requirement.
