London 2 Brighton Challenge

Distance: 25km, 33km, 42km, 58km, 75km, 100km options
Registration fees from £30 to £199 (*discounts available)

Over 2,000 adventurers will take on the Capital to Coast route and test their grit over the whole weekend. Richmond-Upon-Thames is the start, and it’s over the North Downs with wonderful Surrey and Sussex countryside to half way at Turners Hill. The full 100km route heads over the South Downs before the welcome sight of the Brighton coastline comes in to view. You’ll get full support & hospitality all the way and there are half and quarter distance options also available.

Why Child Bereavement UK?

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying. We provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.

When you fundraise for us, you’ll receive:

• a welcome email and fundraising pack
• a charity t-shirt to wear on the day
• support to achieve your target from our dedicated team 
• e-newsletters updating you with news from across the charity
• access to our fundraiser's Facebook group

Fundraising options

There are three ways to take on the London to Brighton Challenge:

Full sponsorship for charity You pay a low registration fee and have a minimum fundraising target. The charity covers your event place cost. Please select 'Child Bereavement UK' when you complete your registration. *Participants receive a 25% registration fee discount when choosing full sponsorship for Child Bereavement UK.

Mixed funding for charity You pay half the registration fee and the charity pays the remainder. You have a smaller minimum fundraising target. When you complete your registration form and choose a charity, please select * OTHER * on the list and then add 'Child Bereavement UK'.

Own place charity fundraising You pay full event place cost when you register and there is no minimum fundraising requirement. When you complete your registration form and choose a charity, please select * OTHER * on the list and then add 'Child Bereavement UK'.
