Enjoy an atmosphere like no other in this bustling, vibrant and colourful city, which welcomes thousands of spectators and the local community each year. Enjoy a course that starts in Preston Park, snakes its way through Brighton city centre, along the glorious seafront and finishes at Hove Lawns. Brighton Marathon is one of the largest marathons in the UK, don’t miss out on this great experience! Every mile you run and every penny you raise will support our work rebuilding lives.

Why Child Bereavement UK?

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying. We provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.

When you fundraise for us, you’ll receive:

  • a welcome email and fundraising pack
  • a charity vest to wear on the day
  • support to achieve your target from our dedicated team
  • e-newsletters updating you with news from across the charity
  • access to our fundraiser's Facebook group

Running through Brighton, past its landmarks but mostly the sea views made it a special day. However, the most rewarding aspect of running was knowing that I had fund raised for Child Bereavement UK.

Wilfred ran the Brighton Marathon and raised £1,725 for Child Bereavement UK
