Distance: 10K | Registration Fee: £20 | Fundraising Target: £100

Take part in this year's Brighton 10K in aid of Child Bereavement UK and enjoy this iconic event over the Brighton Marathon weekend.

The race itself starts from the same start line as the Brighton Marathon in Preston Park.

The course is fast and flat, taking participants through the city centre and ending at the same finish as the marathon on Madeira Drive. Non-racing wheelchair users are welcome to take part in the event, however the race organisers currently do not offer elite wheelchair races or allow self-propelled racing wheelchairs.

Why Child Bereavement UK?

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying. We provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.

When you fundraise for us, you’ll receive:

  • a welcome email and fundraising pack from our events team
  • support to achieve your personal target from our dedicated fundraising and events team
  • a charity branded running vest to wear on the day
  • e-newsletters updating you with news from across the charity
  • access to our online Facebook group, where other fundraisers share training and fundraising advice
