Peripatetic Bereavement Support Practitioner: Teesside Terms: 37.5 hours per weekBased: TeesideSalary: £28,000 pa: fixed term contract until 31st August 2022 Child Bereavement UK (CBUK) has 25 years' experience in supporting families and educating professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement. CBUK aims to tackle the inequality of bereavement support available across the UK by developing and delivering a suite of services with local health, education, social care and voluntary organisations. We have been working in Middlesbrough since 2016 developing a Bereavement Advisory Group, networking with a range of local contacts and offering training across relevant professions. Thanks to further funding we can now develop our Teesside work into a full-time role. The post holder will be able to continue the development work across agencies but also have opportunity to offer some direct support to bereaved children and families across the Teesside area.
