Back for 2022. Take on the Yorkshire Challenge in the beautiful Nidderdale area, on the southeast edge of the Yorkshire Dales.
Walk, jog or run the course, and choose from the full 100km, a half challenge or even a 25km quarter challenge–it’s your challenge, your way!

There’s a challenge basecamp hub in Pateley Bridge with a range of camping options, car parking, and extensive hospitality and welfare services over the weekend. The full 100 km route is a figure of eight, out and back from our basecamp, including the famous Nidderdale Way, Ripley Castle and Gouthwaite Reservoir. You’ll get full support all the way and, with half, quarter, and 10 km distance options also, there’s a Yorkshire Challenge for everyone.

It's your challenge, your way!

Covid Secure Measures

Ultra Challenges were one of the UK’s first ‘Covid Secure’ mass participation challenges in 2020 and we will also be implementing standardised measures to keep all participants safe whilst on each challenge in 2022. You’ll see special social distancing requirements and hygiene measures in place across many elements of the events, ensuring each Ultra Challenge is as low risk as possible for everyone involved. For more information on this, click here.

Please note: Due to the ongoing pandemic, there may be changes made to events that are outside of Child Bereavement UK's control. If any changes are made, such as a change in date, we will ensure we inform you as soon as possible.
