Distance: 10km | Registration Fee: £10 | Fundraising Target: £50

If you’re looking to dust off your trainers but are not quite ready for a marathon distance, the Vitality 10,000 race is the perfect challenge for you. Following a similar route to the Olympic marathon, this iconic race is a unique way to take in the sights of our capital city.

Why Child Bereavement UK?

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying. We provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.

When you fundraise for us, you’ll receive:

  • a welcome email and fundraising pack from our events team
  • a charity running vest to wear on the day with iron-on letters
  • support to achieve your target from our dedicated fundraising and events team
  • e-newsletters updating you with news from across the charity
  • access to our online Facebook group, where other fundraisers share training and fundraising advice

The Vitality 10,000 was a great event with an amazing atmosphere! I felt especially motivated after receiving so much support and encouragement from the fundraising team at Child Bereavement UK. Everything from the route itself to the Vitality Wellness Festival at the event was wonderful and very well organised. I especially enjoyed my free massage at the end! I would recommend this event to anyone who is looking to start running and love a great vibe!
