Why Child Bereavement UK?

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying. We provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.

To increase your chance of securing a place with us, you can apply to receive one of our charity places. If you would like to apply, please fill in the application form as fully as possible. Applying doesn’t guarantee you a charity place, we will contact you after the ballot place announcement to let you know if you’ve been successful or not. Good luck and thank you.

The 2024 ballot results are due to announced by the end of June. If you receive a place, we would love for you to join our team and support Child Bereavement UK to rebuild lives. You can set your own fundraising target and there's no minimum fundraising pledge.
