Get involved Volunteer with us Volunteer at a festival Pennfest | Friday Pennfest is a two day festival with something for all the family with activities and entertainment for children as well as an exciting line-up for the grown-ups. Acts on Friday include Noel Gallagher, Johnny Marr, Gaz Coombes, Not35, Bad Matters and The Cuban Brothers. We're seeking friendly, approachable people to volunteer 4-hours of their time to help scan tickets and sell wristbands and raffle tickets on the day in aid of Child Bereavement UK. In return they'll be able to enjoy the rest of the day at the festival for free! Volunteers will be fully briefed and supported both before and during the event by Child Bereavement UK staff. It's great to interact with people in the crowds, there's always a good spirit. People chat to you and you get talking to other people. It's a really nice day knowing you are doing some good for someone along the way. Shelley, Festival Volunteer Sign up to volunteer Who can volunteer? Volunteers must be aged 18 or over. Children may join a volunteering adult at this event, we operate a ratio of 1 adult to 1 child. These are busy events and we ask that volunteers keep this in mind when bringing children. Children attend at your own risk and must always remain with their responsible adult. If you know another adult who would like to attend and volunteer with you, they need to be registered with us in advance of the event. Unregistered volunteers will not be accepted at the gate. Equality and diversity We encourage diversity and equality in all our volunteer roles. If you have a disability or additional need and would like to discuss this with us prior to signing up, please email: [email protected] to see how we can support you.
