Duration: 5 days | Registration Fee: £250 (Non-refundable) | Fundraising Target: Variable

Challenge Grading: Suitable for everyone

Iceland lies on the edge of the Arctic Circle and is home to some of Europe's most dramatic and wild landscapes. You will be awed by its natural beauty; wild volcanic landscapes, mountains, glaciers, hot springs, geysers and waterfalls combined with a rich history make Iceland a fascinating country to explore.

On this trek you will explore the stunning scenery of southern Iceland. You will stay in a spectacular environment surrounded by lakes and mountain scenery, miles from the nearest big towns. You will be trekking for approximately 4-6 hours a day over rolling hills and valleys, following horse tracks and old sheep trails. There will be snow underfoot so it's challenging walking, but no technical expertise is required.

Every evening the dark skies mean you may even see the fascinating Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights).
