Join us for an interactive study day which brings together charities who specialise in supporting mens' grief to share their knowledge, challenges and expertise. There will be some input from Mark Denny from Child Bereavement UK giving an insight into how men grieve and why we might need to challenge our common misconceptions in order to offer the best possible support. We are also expecting to be joined by speakers from Sands and Strongmen, plus others.

Aim of the day

In this study day we seek to understand and raise awareness of the different ways that men cope with bereavement. Bringing together charities who work exclusively to support men who face bereavement and providing you with the opportunity to share expertise, ask questions and discuss issues so that you are better enabled to offer support.

Cost: £45

We encourage prospective participants to consider their own experience of loss and how it might affect them during training. Generally speaking, our training is not usually suited to anyone who has suffered a recent, significant personal loss or bereavement.
