Bereavement is devastating at any time but can feel particularly difficult at Christmas. For many it is unbearable to imagine what life must be like for a child left without their mum, dad, brother or sister or for a parent whose baby or child has died.

Child Bereavement UK supports families to help them rebuild shattered lives after bereavement while continuing to remember someone precious to them.

Christmas can be such a hard and raw time, full of emptiness and 'whys'. Without Child Bereavement UK, I dread to think where we would be now.

- Matt and Joanna, whose twin boys died
